Recently, a group of volunteer gardeners got together and celebrated the start of spring with a meal they had harvested. With a Mexican theme, they cooked up pumpkins they pulled from their plots, and turned tomatoes and tamatillos into a spicy salsa they served with corn and vibrant greens.
