Size is a measure that describes how big or small the fruit and/or produce may be

Weight is a measurement that indicates how heavy the produce is, specifically in Kilograms

Example 1: I have a 20kg crate of Oranges

Example 2: I have a 200kg bin of Oranges

Count is a measurment that indicates the quantity of individual produce or individual container

Example 1: 5 count – there are 5 avocados in a bag.

Example 2: 10 count – there are 10 bags of avocados in that box

Stock availability is the amount/quantity of produce you currently have available to sell

Example 1: I have 10 bags of potatoes in stock

Example 2: I have 100 cartons of oranges on hand

Produce is supplied in all sorts of container’s. Quantity, quality and how fragile the produce is will determine the type of container it is supplied in.

Produce can be packaged in different types of packaging and sold as count in containers or sold individually.

Produce bought or sold in bulk quantities can be supplied on pallets.

Grade 1 – <4% Defect
Grade 2 – <20% Defect
